About Safe Families for Children Raleigh-Durham
In 2003, the Safe Families for Children (SFFC) movement began in Chicago. In 2016, our local chapter launched.
Through our Circle of Support program, the Raleigh-Durham Chapter of Safe Families for Children has served over 117 families since then with a 98% reunification rate of children returning home to their parents or an identified relative that has agreed to care for them. To learn more about our chapter, read our 2025 Impact Report.
